Chad, and his wife Eydie purchased the Anchorage Downtown Hotel in late 2009 and immediately started on remodeling and updating the property, Chad has been in Real Estate Sales since 2004, using the same contractors for his rental properties and real estate business to complete the hotel remodel made the process quick and efficient. Chad conducts his real Estate sales and Corporate Rental business from his office located off the Hotel's front lobby, Making it easy to over see operations at the Hotel. You can find Chad in his office 7 days per week in the early mornings.

General Manager of Operations
With a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management from University of Las Vegas, Some Would say Selwin was born to work in the Hotel/Hospitality industry. With over 10 years of experience in Managment of hotels infused with being Born and Raised in Alaska. The Anchorage Downtown Hotel & Selwin are a match Made in Heaven. Selwin is committed to his work, Continually putting over 60 hours of work in per week and the management of over 12 employees this career choice is far from a walk in the park, Selwin often to refers to his operation as "A well Oiled Machine".

Phillip, Is the Back Bone of the Front Desk. His list of "things To Do" seems to never end from making hot fresh cookies daily (often raved about from past guest) to heading the Advertisement and promotion side of the business(s) While Phillip may seem like an ordinary Front Desk Associate what most guest do not know is Phillip is an Eagle Scout and Nearing completion of his Black Belt, If you are lucky enough to be checked in or out by Phillip be sure to ask the color of his belt!

At the age of 21 and originally from Guatemala Yessica T, is our House keeping lead, Managing a department with 3 other housekeppers, and often working 60 hours per week and cleaning 10-12 hotel rooms and 2-4 extended stay rentals in a day, Yessica is our "Power House" Our guest can always tell when Yessica and her team have been at the property leaving it look and smell squeaky clean.

Kon D Kon
House Keeper/Muscle
Kon, hailing from Ghana Africa is our Muscle behind the house Keepers, If The girls can't lift it :"Kon Can" he effortlessly swings a Vaccume around 3 flights of stairs and over 6,000 square feet of Hotel per day. Lifting baskets of soiled sheets and towels over his head without breaking a sweat: Running a Business with Kon is a Must!

Kris Smith
Head Maintenance
The slogan in our business is "If Kris cant fix it, No one can" and boy is that true! Kris has over 15 years of maintenance under his "tool Belt" from building homes from the ground up to changing a light bulb. Being young AND knowledgeable is a plus with Kris and His team, You will often hear Kris communicating with his staff via Blue Tooth headsets (walkie talkies are so last year) connected to iphones, perfect for pictures of problems or live video stream to solve a maintenance issue from another location.
